Editing tools default to previous layer

When I add a layer, the last tool used is the default, even though the new layer is selected. I have to go to the new layer, unselect it, reselect, then the tool defaults to the new layer opacity.

This is a known bug and we are looking to fix this asap! Thanks for letting us know - especially how you came about getting this bug. We assume it doesn't happen every time as is seems to be a very specific sequence of steps since we can't reproduce it every time.

We are still investigating this issue as it is intermittent bug so hard to reproduce. If you have exact reproducible steps - let us know.
